8/20/2010Microsoft Dynamics CRM 5 has been renamed Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 and will be the next major version of CRM from Microsoft. I was fortunate to see a complete demo of the system about a month ago and was very impressed by the set of new features that have been added to the system.
In general, there are several new features that help deepen the integration into Microsoft Outlook and SharePoint to help further the productivity of users.
Check back for more details soon on what is new Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011. 3/7/2010
Microsoft announced on March 4, 2010 that they will be releasing the entire Microsoft Office 2010 Suite to the general public on May 12, 2010. This includes:

- Excel 2010
- PowerPoint 2010
- Access 2010
- Visio 2010
- Project 2010
- SharePoint 2010
Presumably this includes SharePoint Foundation Services and SharePoint Server 2010 but the announcement was unclear on this point.
