Microsoft Windows Essential Business Server 2008 will be discontinued

Microsoft announced on March 5 that Windows Essential Business Server 2008 will be discontinued on June 30,2010. Microsoft Windows Essential Business Server 2008 was targeted at midsized businesses.

Due to the number of options available from Microsoft for midsized businesses there has been sluggish demand for EBS2008.

You are not left with two options:

SBS2008 which will work for organizations with less than 75 users.
Purchase full license product of Windows Server 2008.
